I’m very achy and sore and got lost trying a new route. Also was really really cold. Next week is the deadline for deferring marathon entry and I might have to do it and spend this year building an aerobic base (ie being fit) and doing half marathons. Anyway I ran and mainly walked around 5km and am so cold and stiff now. Will take Friday as a complete rest day and attempt a long one on Saturday morning, maybe involving the parkrun. I think I get very in my head about long runs and dread them because I don’t think I can do them and then I start running and have to stop at 2km. It doesn’t bode well. But I’m having an active rest of the day and will warm up now. Peace out. I want to go back to bed (it’s not even 11am).
